Borderless Networks

Meeting the business and technical challenges of today's organizations requires an architectural approach. The Cisco Borderless Network Architecture is the technical architecture that allows organizations to connect anyone, anywhere, anytime, and on any device - securely, reliably, and seamlessly. It is built on an infrastructure of scalable and resilient hardware and software. Components of the architecture come together to build network systems that span your organization from network access to the cloud. Intelligent network, endpoint, and user services provide the flexibility, speed, and scale to support new devices, applications, and deployment models.

Datacentre and Virtualisation

Cisco has redesigned the datacentre. The benefits of a virtualised server environment is now well accepted and with Cisco UCS, customers can now take advantage of a virtualised network. Using Cisco UCS servers and Nexus switching, dramatic reductions in OPEX and significant improvements in management of the overall environment can be made. Cisco Servers have been designed from scratch, specifically for virtualised environments, with features such as fully redundant systems, high spec multiple processor configurations (up to 10 cores per physical CPU) and extended memory technology, which allows a higher density of virtual machines to be run per physical host.

Support and Maintenance

SMARTnet is the backbone of the Cisco support and provides basic hardware fixes and software support.
